A billboard featuring aptly named sultry model Jessiqa Pace located just after Lowes hairpin and before the tunnel on the racetrack at the Monaco Grand Prix had to be taken down after it proved too distracting to Formula 1 drivers. Californian model, 29 year old Ms. Pace, was appearing in the campaign for Martini, the Italian winemaker famous for its vermouth.

F1 team representatives asked for the posters to be taken down after drivers complained during trial runs; current world champion Lewis Hamilton crashed in Saturday's qualifying round close to the gigantic image of Jessiqa. Jenson Button reportedly said, "Every time you passed her, it was as though she was looking right at you", obviously this worked for him since he won the race at a canter.

The irony was that Miss Pace was in Monaco for the race and when she heard about the incident she mused "Obviously it’s very flattering that I’m distracting the drivers so much, but I’d feel terrible if someone got hurt." You would think world class, professional, race car drivers would have iron-concentration to go with their nerves-of-steel and not be prone to this sort of weak will, but then again you'd have a hard time concentrating too if this woman were staring right at you.
